Bridget’s Story

IMG_1243

My beloved husband, Michael, went to heaven in October of 2025.

He lived life well by selflessly loving his people.

Whether at his job, in his community, or in the walls of our home, he served with quiet dedication and a generous spirit.

He fought fiercely for the rights of people with disabilities, especially for his son.

A pure representation of love in action.

He had a wicked sense of humor that, at times, would catch you off guard

and a gentle smile that made everything feel safe.

He knew how to fix anything, and he was always willing to help.

He was the most optimistic person- always looking on the bright side.

When life became overwhelming, he always grounded me.

He was my steady place, my encourager, and my number one fan.

There was no place he would rather be than at home with his family. That was his greatest joy.

He cheered loudly for his favorite football and baseball teams,

but he carried himself with humility- gentle, quiet, and strong.

Michael’s life was a gift. His love built a foundation that will continue to carry us.

Although we miss him tremendously, his legacy will guide our path forward.
